Visual Description : The mortar is made from bark and is carved into a tall vase-like shape. The base is smaller than the mouth. It appears as though there were originally two handles on either side of the mouth. One is now missing. The pestle is made from solid stone and is fairly thick. It is oblong in shape with one end slightly larger than the other.
