Artist Statement : "'Change of Season' was inspired by the significant events that occur in my people's lives. During the winter season, when our Salish Spirit Dances are in process, we initiate new Salish members to our Dance Society. The frog (wuhus) can be heard croaking in the wilderness, signifying to our people once again that our dance season is complete, and a change of seasons. This design depicts a Salish man holding a frog." - Manuel Salazar
